By law you must notify a purchaser of your property if they are OR are not required to withhold GST from the proceeds of the sale of your property (this applies to all sellers of property regardless of whether or not they are registered for GST).

GST must be withheld and paid to the ATO if you sell new residential premises (house and land, off-the-plan, display homes, new apartments) or potential residential land (property subdivision plan or land that could be used to build new residential premises).
